1. INSERT OR DRAG AND DROP
WordPress 5.7 will allow you to simply drag and drop the blocks directly from the insertor panel to the spot where you want them in your post or page editor.
2. FULL HEIGHT BLOCKS
Blocks such as the Cover block now can have an option to expand to fill the entire viewport. It was first added to the block editor with Gutenberg 9.5. Now, it’s merged into Core and is implemented in the Cover block.
3. SOCIAL ICONS BLOCK
A SSL certification helps you to gather the trust of your customer. They think that your website is secure for them, so they interact more with your website.
4. FONT SIZE SUPPORT
A new Typography option in now available for the code block so you can now change the font size in the List and Code blocks.

1. LAZY-LOAD OF IFRAMES
Lazy loading is a technique to optimize the website’s performance by deferring loading non-critical resources until they are in the user’s viewport. WordPress will add a loading=”lazy” attribute to iframe tags when both width and height are provided.
2. MIGRATION FROM HTTP TO HTTPS IN ONE CLICK
Now WordPress will detect if a website’s environment supports HTTPS. If so, the HTTPS Status section in the Tool > Site Health provides a call-to-action button allowing site admins to switch their websites from HTTP to HTTPS with a single click.
3. NEW ROBOTS API
Robots meta tag allows you to tell search engine bots how to crawl and index a website. WordPress 5.7 introduces a new filter-based Robots API that allows developers to control this robots meta tag programmatically and add their custom directives to the robots meta tag.
4. RESET PASSWORD LINKS
WordPress 5.7 introduced a new feature, which allows the WordPress admins to send reset password links to any registered user. So, it will be useful if for some reason users are unable to reset their password.
